Buying on the official Universal Studios website can help you save $10 off The Lost Continent gate price on multi-day tickets.  If you’re a Florida resident you could save $50.

Now - May 31, 2017 - receive two day admission FREE when you buy two day two park admission. Some restrictions apply, see official website for more details.

At times, if you order online you will receive a coupon book with up to $150 in savings.  

All AAA and CAA members save on a 2-Day/2-Park ticket and 3-Day/2-Park ticket when you buy them at the gate. Valid for up to six people per membership card.

The longer you stay, the more you save per day on your ticket. You can purchase a 14-day unlimited pass that it good for Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Wet ‘N’ Wild Orlando. This deal costs about $50 per person, per day.

If you plan on visiting several Orlando attractions, check into the Orlando Flex ticket.

If you plan on going often it could be a better choice to get the annual pass. A week's worth of admissions can be more then an annual pass. So if you plan on going more then 5 or 6 times, you can save money. In addition, you get FREE parking most visits, discounts on special events, discounts on food, merchandise, on-site hotels and more.

Local hotels often have a Stay and Play Universal Park hotel package.

Islands of Adventure coupons, discounts, deals and specials are usually for a limited time and have an expiration date.

Refillable Drinks and Dining Plan

Cheap snacks and drinks can be had with the refillable drink mugs and popcorn buckets for sale at Universal Orlando.

Many locations throughout both theme parks and CityWalk sell refillable Coke FreeStyle mugs that offer discounted refills. Although the signs suggest that the refills are good on the day of purchase only, you can bring your mug back on future days and still get the cheap refills.  

Street cart vendors sell popcorn buckets that offer discounted refills.

There is also a The classic souvenir soda cup refill policy.  You can purchase one for $8.99 at many locations. These can also be refilled for 99 cents. Also, many character cups that you purchase at the gift shops can be filled for 99 cents. With these cups you also get discounts on slushies and ICEEs, and inside Wizarding World you receive discounts on lemonade and iced tea. 

Universal Studios now offers two dining plans that can help you save money on your visit.

A few restaurants in the Universal Studios area are featured on You can purchase discounted gift certificates good for a set price, usually around $25, and you get them at a discounted price, usually around $10.

About The Lost Continent

This Lost Continent Island is divided into two sections, Sinbad’s Bazaar, an Arabian marketplace, and the Lost City, themed after Atlantis.  A third section of the island that was called Merlinwood has been re-themed for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Most of the rides that were there have been moved to that area.
That third section is now is where two live-action shows take place. 

The Lost Continent island is also where Mythos restaurant is located, the winner of the best theme park restaurant.

Islands of Adventure Details

The park is open every day of the year.

Universal Studios hours vary by season.  They usually open at 9am but can open as early as 8am.  Closing times are usually between 7pm to 10pm.

Regular Parking is $17.00 and referred Parking $22.00 in their parking garage.

Florida residents can receive Free parking after 6:00 pm with proof of residency. Provide one of the following: Driver's License or Florida State-issued ID card (must have Florida address).  Some restrictions apply.  Not available during special events.

Wheelchair rental and pet kennel are available in parking garage.

You cannot bring picnic lunches into the park. However, some drinks and snacks are allowed.  Here is what you CAN bring in as of 2014:  Bottled water, small snacks that do not require heating, any food required for medical purposes and medically–indicated nutritional supplements, any food required for special dietary needs and Baby food/baby formula.  These can be in a soft-sided insulated bags no larger than 8.5" wide x 6" high x 6" deep.
