About Ripley's in Newport Oregon
This Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum, located in Newport, Oregon, features something for the entire family to enjoy. Robert Ripley began collecting strange artifacts from around the world since 1918, these items have been featured in books, fairs and his very own Odditoriums ever since.
At this particular location, visitors can expect to see the "Man of Chains" who wore 370 pounds of chains for 13 years, the famous Fiji Mermaid that was discovered in 1817 aboard a native Indonesian vessel, the four-eyed Chinese Emperor, a New Guinea invisible cloak and interesting facts about Morgan Robertson, who predicted the sinking of the Titanic 14 years before it was built.

Admission is $14.99 per Adult, $7.99 per Child ages 5-12 and Children under 4 are FREE.
The museum has regular operating hours from July – September and sporadic hours the rest of the year.
