April 29, 2017 - Community Appreciation Day. FREE entrance into the zoo.

April 16, 2017 -Easter EGGstravaganza. This FREE event includes an Easter Egg Hunts for children ages 0 - 12, special Easter treats for the animals, a scavenger hunt, and much more. Event is free with paid admission to zoo.

May 10, June 9, July 8, August 7, September 6, 2017 - Zoo By Moonlight is an evening event held at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary every full moon from May through September. the events runs from 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm and admission is $6 for non-members, $4 for members. 

August 26, 2017 - Wet & Wild Water Day. Festivities include water games, a splashy bounce house, wet attractions, special animal feedings, aquatic animal encounters, concessions and much more. Activities during "Wet and Wild Water Day" are free with paid general admission!

December 25 - 31, 2017 - Kids get in FREE week.

December 24, 2017 - Half Price Day.

A Senior zoo ticket discount price for those ages 65 and older is offered.

Groups with 20 or more paying admission can receive a Heritage Park Zoo discounted admission.

The Arizona Savings Book has a Heritage Park Zoo discount coupon for buy one admission get one FREE. There is unlimited use of this coupon.

Heritage Park Zoo offers a Military discount to those who have a Proper I.D.

About Heritage Park Zoo

Heritage Park Zoo, also known as Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, is located just north of Prescott Arizona.  It sits on 10 acres of land overlooking Willow Lake.  

This Prescott zoo has one of the largest public displays of spiders in the country. Tarantula Grotto holds the 26 different spiders including the Goliath Birdeater.   

Other animals you can see at this zoo are tiger, American black Bear, fox, mountain lion, duck, emu, great horned owl, raven, pronghorn, Llama, Mexican gray wolf, snakes, common genet, coyote and ring-tailed lemur.

Heritage Park Zoo Details

Heritage Park Zoo is open every day of the year.

Zoo hours are 9am - 5pm from May 1 - October 31.  In the summer months of June, July and August, the zoo is open until 8pm on Saturdays.  From November 1 - April 30, Heritage Park Zoo hours are from 10am - 4pm.

Regular admission prices are Adults $10, Senior/Military/Student: $8, Children (3-12) $6 and Children under 3 are FREE.

Guests are welcome to bring a picnic lunch into the zoo. There are picnic tables in Kiwanis Korner right by a playground.
