A Military discount is given every day with a valid ID for up to 6 zoo tickets.

The Columbus Zoo offers a combo zoo ticket for those also wanting to go to Zoombezi. Zoombezi is a waterpark also operated by the zoo.  It is a two day ticket and does not have to be used the same day.

About Columbus Zoo

Under the guidance of Jack Hanna, the Columbus Zoo also known as Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has been rated the #1 Zoo in the United States by USA Travel Guide. Jack Hanna is an American zookeeper and the Director Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

He is well-known for his animal education in various venues such as the David Letterman’s show.

The Ohio Zoo is divided into 5 regions entitled Asia Quest, Shores, African Forest, North America, Australia and The
Islands. The zoo is home to over 7,000 animals including a number of rare species.

Columbus Zoo Details

Admission for ages 10-59: $19.99, ages 2-9: $14.99, Seniors (age 60 and up): $14.99 and under 2 is FREE.

Parking is $10.

Columbus Zoo hours are from 9 am - 5 pm until Memorial Day weekend, 9 am - 7 pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The zoo is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (for Wildlights) and Christmas Day.

There are extended hours during Wildlights when the zoo stays open until 9 pm during the week and 10 pm on weekends.

Guests are welcome to bring food and beverages but no straws or alcohol.
