Memorial Day, July 4th and Veteran’s Day - Active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers' Training Corps will receive a FREE Cincinnati Zoo ticket with a government issued ID. They may also purchase up to six half-priced tickets for immediate family members. Some restrictions may apply.
Groups of 15 or more can receive a discount.

About Cincinnati Zoo
Also known as the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, the zoo was founded in 1873 and it was the second zoo to
open in the United States. This zoo has had a very successful breeding program and has therefore has become known as "The Sexiest Zoo in America".
This Cincinnati Zoo has been rated the number one attraction locally, one of the top zoos in the United States by Zagat Survey and a number seven by Parents Magazine on the Top 10 Best Zoos for Kids.
It has over 500 animals and 3,000 plant species. Some of the zoo’s mammals are the American Black Bear, Screaming Hairy Armadillo, Black-footed Cat, Babydoll Sheep, Takins, California Sea Lion and Red Panda.
Some of the exhibits at this Ohio Zoo include the Gibbon Islands, Lords of the Artic, Cheetah Encounter and a Flamingo exhibit. A new exhibit, African Savannah, is being built in four phases. When completed, it will be the largest animal exhibit in zoo history.
