July 24, 2016 - Family Fun Day from 10 - 4. Everyone who visits ZooMontana will only pay $3 for admission on these dates.
August 21, 2016 - Police Officer Appreciation - All police officers and their families in Yellowstone County can get into the zoo for FREE on this day. They also receive a FREE family portrait and FREE Food! Officers need to wear or show their badge or be in uniform.
Father's Day - Dads get in FREE when they bring their child of any age!
Mother's Day - Mom's get in Free when they bring their child of any age (even in utero)!
ZooMontana has an annual HRDC Play Date at the Zoo. This includes FREE admission to the zoo.
The zoo offers a senior discount to all those 55 and over.
A Zoo Montana military discount is offer to those with a proper military ID.
If you plan on visiting this zoo a few times a year, a membership may save you money.

ZooMontana focuses mainly on the animals that are native to its own state, the Rocky Mountains and other cold regions. This still offers great diversity and you will see insects, birds, reptiles and mammals as well as plants from all over the world. Some of the animals you can see are gray wolf, American mink, Amur tiger, bald eagle, ball python, gecko and grizzly bear.
Gardens include the Jane Reger Sensory Garden, Children's Garden and Dotty's Garden. Zoo Montana also offers a nature trail and a gift shop.
The zoo is open everyday of the year except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. It may close due to inclement weather.
ZooMontana hours vary by season. Summer hours are 10am – 4pm. Winter hours are 10am – 2pm.
Zoo Montana ticket prices are: Adults $9, Children (3-15) $6 and Children 2 and under are FREE.
Seniors (over 55) $7 and Military with proper ID $7.
A picnic area is available near the playground!
Parking is FREE.
