About Vulcan Park and Museum

Vulcan Museum is a beautiful park and recreational area overlooking Birmingham, Alabama. What makes the park unique, though, is the 56 foot tall iron statue of Vulcan. The statue is made of 100,000 pounds of iron!  It truly is one of a kind.

In addition, there is a history museum that is all about the creation and history of both Vulcan and Birmingham. Beautiful views of Birmingham can be seen from the top of Red Mountain.
