About the New York Pass

If you have been planning your New York vacation and wondering what is the cheapest way to go about it, check out the New York Pass.  This pass gives you over 80 attractions and tours to choose from on a single, easy to use smart card.

I have long thought that this way of visiting a city is not only the most convenient, but also one of the most economical.

One of the things I like about the concept is that if you just want to see a part of an attraction, like a particular room in a museum, you just see it and move on to another attraction. You don't have to feel like you have to stay the whole day at one place to get your money's worth.

Hit the highlights of the attractions or dig in at one for the day.  It is really all up to you.

The way it works is this: Decide how many days you want your New York Pass.  Buy your card at the official website.  You can then have the card mailed to you or pick it up at one of three locations in New York.  You pay for the card and get FREE entry into any and all listed attractions and tours when you show them your card.  (Keep in mind that some tours or attractions require reservations.)

To see how much money the New York Pass will save you, add up the regular admissions and tour costs of the places you plan on visiting and compare them to the cost of the Pass you are choosing.  Most people find a substantial savings.

This New York Pass also includes Fast Track at some of the most popular locations so you won't lose time waiting in lines and the Hop-on, Hop-off Bus Tour to help you get around.  In addition, you will receive a 200-page guide book and can download their app.
