Sunday, June 18, 2017 - Father's Day at Montgomery Zoo. FREE admission to fathers on Father's Day.
November 5-11, 2017 - Veteran's Appreciation Week. all veterans, active duty military and their immediate family members receive a 50% DISCOUNT on regular daytime Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum admission. Proper ID required. Some restrictions may apply.
Montgomery Zoo has a Senior discount that is available for those 65 and older.

About Montgomery Zoo
This Montgomery Zoo is also the location of the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum. This Alabama zoo has over 40 acres of land and is home to over 500 animals from five continents. The animal's habitats are natural and barrier-free.
The zoo is divided into five realms called South America, Africa, Australia, North America and Asia. Some of the endangered animals that call the Montgomery Zoo home are the Andean Condor, Sumatran Tiger, Cheetah, Maned Wolf, Ocelot, Black-footed penguins and Bontebok.

It is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Special events often have extended hours.
Montgomery Zoo hours are 9:00am and closes at 5:30pm most days.
Regular ticket prices for the zoo are: Adults $15, Children $11 and 2 and younger are FREE, Seniors, $13.
The zoo offers some activities that cost extra. Among those are the Animal Encounter such as feeding the river otters for fifty cents, a train ride and horse rides, which cost a few dollars.
The Montgomery Zoo allows picnics and outside food in all areas of the Zoo except the Overlook. The zoo has shelters available but guests may also use grassy areas, benches, tent areas and the playground as a picnic area.
No food or drink is permitted in the Mann Museum.
