April 24, 2017 - Fun Day Mondays -  $5.25 general admission on these Mondays at the Louisville Zoo.

May 14, 2017 - Mother's Day - FREE admission for moms.

June 18, 2017 - Father's Day - Free Louisville Zoo tickets for dads!

2017 - The Entertainment Book has a Louisville Zoo coupon that offers $2 off any adult admission. If you do not have a book or a mobile app, you can get one here.

A Senior discount Louisville Zoo ticket will save you some money on General Admission.

This zoo offers a Safari Ticket that includes unlimited train and carousel rides.

Military discounts are available with a valid ID.  Active duty military personnel receive FREE General Admission (not a ticket package).  Retired Military receive 10% of General Admission only.

Groups of 15 or more can get a zoo discount. You can buy the tickets online or call a few days ahead of your visit.

School groups, daycare, cents and scouts receive discounted admission. These groups can purchase their tickets for a deal. 

AZA members of another zoo or aquarium receive 50% discount Louisville General Admission tickets during regular zoo hours only (not for ticket packages). Parking is not included.

The Newport Aquarium offers a $3 discount ticket when you show your current Louisville Zoo membership card at the ticket window.

Many local hotels offer Louisville Zoo hotel packages that include zoo tickets.

Local library children’s reading programs often give their participates a zoo coupon.

Local grocery stores like Kroger sometimes have discount Louisville zoo tickets.

The zoo often offers special online promotions such as: save $5 on a new membership.

Louisville zoo has a Facebook and Twitter page on which it announces any special zoo discounts.

If you have a membership to a different zoo, you may qualify for a discount or FREE Louisville Zoo ticket.

A Louisville zoo membership includes one year of unlimited FREE admission to the zoo and Papa John’s Splash Park (in season) during regular zoo hours, FREE parking, 10% discount on food and beverages at any permanent restaurants or concessions (excludes Dippin’ Dots ice cream) and FREE or discounted admission into over 140 zoos and aquariums throughout the U.S.  Some local businesses also give special discounts to zoo members.

Louisville Zoo coupons, discounts, deals and specials are usually for a limited time and may have an expiration date.

About Louisville Zoo

The Louisville Zoo is located in Louisville, Kentucky. This AZA-accredited zoo in Kentucky offers a large range of animals. The zoo has won awards for some of its exhibits and when visiting you can see why. Some of the animals you will see at this zoo are orangutans, Sumatran tigers, penguins, vampire bats, chinchilla, elephants, camel, bongo and more.

The zoo area called Glacier Run is a gold mining town in the arctic wilderness. You can watch the polar bears both above and below the water as they climb small cliffs or take a swim. Other residents of this area are grizzly bears, sea lions, Steller’s Sea-eagles and other birds.

The Gorilla Forest area has a walkway through the four-acre jungle complete with a stream and small waterfalls. Guests have great views of the gorillas both inside and outside. In this area, you can also see Pygmy hippos and a modern research station.


Fort Wayne Details

Louisville Zoo is open every day of the year except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Hours for the zoo are: Mid-March to Labor Day 10am - 5pm, September to mid-March 10am - 4pm.

Regular General Admission ticket prices are Adults $16.25, Children (3-11) $11.75, Senior (60 and up) $11.75 and Children under 3 are FREE.

Parking is $5 per vehicle. Louisville Zoo members park for FREE during regular zoo hours. Parking fees may vary during zoo events.

Louisville Zoo does allow outside food into the zoo. Picnic areas are available on a first come, first served basis. No alcohol, glass or straws are allowed.
