  • 2017 - Target Free Second Tuesdays - from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Imagine It! Children's Museum of Atlanta in partnership with Target offers the museum exhibits for FREE during this time.
  • Naptime Savings - Arrive after 3pm on a weekday or 4pm on a weekend to receive a $5.00 Children's Museum of Atlanta discount off the regular admission price. Not available on holidays and some restrictions may apply.
  • Fulton County Days - Residents are invited to buy one admission ticket and receive one additional general admission ticket for FREE on the opening day of each feature exhibit. Tickets are available for walk-in visitors only and are subject to availability. Proper ID is required.

  • 2017 - Memorial Day, July 4, Veteran’s Day, Flag Day, and Armed Forces Day at the Children's Museum of Atlanta all active, retired and reserve military personnel are admitted for FREE. Their families receive the discounted rate. Proper military ID must be shown.
  • A daily discount is offered to active, retired, and reserve military personnel and their families daily with proper military ID.
  • If you have a membership at another museum that is part of the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) reciprocal benefits, then you are eligible to receive 50% off general admission for up to six (6) people when you visit the Children’s Museum of Atlanta.

About Imagine It! Children's Museum of Atlanta 

Imagine It! Museum, also The Children's Museum of Atlanta, inspires learning through art and creativity. There are several artistic exhibits featured at this museum. This museum can be found most enjoyable by guests ages 0-8 years old. 

The Paint Wall is one the most popular exhibits at Imagine It! Museum. Here painting on the walls is no problem. Children can create beautiful works of art all over the walls.

Another popular exhibit, the Sand Tables, are filled with moon sand, a kind of forming sand. The properties of the sand allows children to shape, mold, and form anything they can think of, letting them learn through touch and building. 


Imagine It! Children's Museum of Atlanta Details

This Atlanta museum is closed at 1pm on Christmas Eve Day and closed on Christmas Day.

The Children's Museum of Atlanta hours are:  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10:00am – 4:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 10:00am – 5:00pm.

Imagine It! Museum ticket prices are: Everyone ages 1 and up: $14.95, ages 0-1: FREE. Military: $11.95. The museum charges tax on admission prices.

There is no parking lots that are owned my Imagine It! However there are several covered parking garages near the museum.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lunch and snacks and eat at the museum's indoor or outdoor picnic tables. Vending machines with healthy food options are also available.
