About Chicago Children's Museum

The Chicago Children's Museum is a fully interactive museum that engages every sort of child through hands on activities. From high energy rock climbing to deep wood engineering, the museum offers a wide range of exhibits that appeal to its many visitors. 

The museum is completely handicap accessible and has exhibits that cater to all learning abilities. This helps to create an inclusive atmosphere for every child, no matter what their situation might be.

Chicago Children's Museum Details

The Chicago Childrens Museum is hours are: Monday-Wednesday 10am-5pm, Thursday 10am-8pm, and Friday-Sunday 10am-5pm.  The museum is also open Friday-Saturday 9am-10am for Member Mornings for Member Mornings. Only Chicago Childrens Museum Members are invited to visit during this time. 

The Chicago Childrens Museum ticket prices are: Adults and Children $14, Seniors $13, and Children under 1 years of age are FREE.

Discounted parking for the Chicago Children's Museum is available in the Navy Pier indoor parking lot adjacent to the museum. However, if these lots are full, there is more parking available nearby for a discounted price with museum validation.

Outside food is not permitted throughout the museum, however there are several public eating spots in the museum where guests can enjoy their packed lunches. Water and coffee in sealed, thermal, containers are permitted through the museum.
