AAA member can save on their Central Florida Zoo ticket prices at the door with a proper ID. 

A Senior rate is offered for all those 60 and over.

Group rates for admission, train and carousel rides are offered for groups of 15 or more. Safari Lunch Bags are also available for an extra charge. One chaperone or teacher gets in FREE with 10 kids. Bus drivers are also FREE. Reservations must be made by calling the number above.

All active and retired Military with I.D., as well as their immediate family, receive 20% off admission and 10% off of annual passes.

If you are part of the law enforcement, fire department, paramedics, EMTS, and other first responders community, you can receive 20% off admission with proper I.D.

About Central Florida Zoo

The Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens, formerly named Sanford Zoo, is home to over 400 animals. Some of the animals that visitors can see are the Amur leopard, black-footed cat, black-handed spider monkey, tamarins, lemurs, cheetah and clouded leopard. Little ones will enjoy the Animal Adventure Children’s Zoo where they can see domestic animals such as: sheep, goats, turkey, zebu and llama. Snakes and reptiles can be seen in the zoo’s Herpretarium. This zoo in Sanford has the largest collection of reptiles.

In addition to the animals, the zoo in central Florida has an aerial adventure course, a water play area, a train ride and carousel.

Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens is open every day of the year except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Central Florida Zoo hours are 9am - 5pm every day.

Regular admission is Adults $19.50, Children (Ages 3-12) $13.75, Seniors (60 and up) $15.95, Children under 2 are FREE. Some activities are an extra charge.

The parking is FREE.

Picnic areas are available for guests.
