Every Friday at Boston Children's Museum from 5pm - 9pm, guests receive $1 admission courtesy of Target stores. 

If you enter the Museum after 4pm on Saturday thru Thursday, you receive 1/2 off admission.

Groupon often has coupons for the museum, such as half off admission. 

Show your Massachusetts EBT and a valid photo ID and pay $2 per person. Some restrictions apply.

Children who are members of Red Sox Kid Nation receive a discount off admission. 

Active New England teachers (K-8) MA, NH, CT, RI, VT, and ME can receive FREE admission to Bostons Childrens Museum with a valid work ID, union card, or paystub AND a photo ID.

Active Military personnel OR one of their dependents with a valid ID receive FREE admission. 

Some participating libraries offer discounts to get into this museum. for this museum. Some restrictions apply. 

WGBH members get $1 off admission to Bostons Childrens Museum with a current WGBH membership card AND a photo ID

Go Boston cardholders receive FREE admission with a valid Go Boston Card.

Some local hotels such as the Boston Harbor Hotel and the Boston Omni Parker House have Boston Children's Museum Hotel packages. These are located on the museum's website under the food and lodging tab.

If you plan on visiting this museum more then once or several science museums, then a membership may be the way to go. Boston Children's Museum member ship include FREE admission to their museum, special members-only hours, discounts, FREE or discounted tickets to over 300 Children's and Science museums around the United States.  Some restrictions may apply.

About Boston Children's Museum

The Boston Children's Museum is a fun, interactive museum that encourages education, exploring, playing and interaction. There are 20 amazing exhibits that features various activities for children to enjoy.

Bubbles is a fun exhibit that is full of large tables with bubble solution where children can make large bubbles, bubble tubes, play games and much more!

Check out KidStage.  An interactive show where actors invite audience members to help them perform the show!  Each participant selected is invited to go up on stage, dress in a costume and help to fill in the story!


Boston Children's Museum Details

The Museum is closed on Sundays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It closes early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve and opens late on New Year's Day.

Bostons Children's Museum hours: Sat-Thurs: 10am - 5pm and Fridays: 10am - 9pm.   

Boston Children's ticket prices are Adults: $16, Children (1-15): $16 and Children ages 0-12 months: FREE.

There are parking lots surrounding the museum. Three of those parking lots offer discounted rates for museum visitors. These are Farnsworth Garage, Stillings Garage and Atlantic Warf Garage. Some require a ticket stub from the museum for discount. 

The entire Boston Children's Museum is handicapped accessible. 

Throughout the museum, there are various areas that are quiet for children who need a break.  There is a list of these areas on the Bostons Childrens Museum website. 

There are also sound reducing earmuffs available at front desk for FREE. They fit children sizes 0-12 months. 

You can pack a lunch for your visit. There is a lunch area for you to sit and eat both inside and outside the museum. There are also restaurants inside the museum where you can purchase food.
