August 6, 2017 & May 2018 - Taylor Family Free Day. FREE admission is offered to all Taylor Students and Scholars. Parents or guardians and two family members or friends are invited to visit FREE at Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium. Taylor card and photo ID required.
August 2017 - Audubon Nature Institute members can visit other New Orleans museums free of charge. Some restrictions may apply.
A Senior discount is offered for all those 65 and over.
The Audubon Institute offers many combo tickets. These combo tickets include the zoo along with other choices such as the IMAX theatre, aquarium or insectarium.
Audubon Experience Package is the best way to save money if you are planning to visit a number of the Audubon attractions. The packages include entry into the Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Entergy IMAX Theatre and Audubon
Insectarium. It includes one visit to each place and is good for five days after starting your first visit to your first attraction. Theatre ticket is good only for the day of the aquarium visit. Some restrictions may apply.
If you are a AAA member, you can receive $2 off adult or $1 off child's admission to Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas or Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium for up to 4 admissions in party when you show your valid AAA membership. Some restrictions may apply.

Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted admission tickets with advanced reservations. Educational trips can also be arranged for groups.
Discounts are offered for college students, the United States Military, City of New Orleans and State of Louisiana employees. Appropriate IDs must be shown for a discount. Most discounts are $1 - $3.
Most of the hotels in the area have package deals that include entrance into the zoo and/or other Audubon areas.

An Audubon Membership offers a year of FREE admission to the Audubon Zoo and Audubon Aquarium. Members also save with discount admission tickets to the Audubon Insectarium and IMAX Theatre as well as extra activities in the attractions.

About Audubon Zoo
The Audubon Zoo is part of the Audubon Nature Institute. The Audubon Nature Institute includes the Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Insectarium, Entergy IMAX Theatre, Audubon Park, Audubon Park Golf Course and Audubon Clubhouse Café.
This New Orleans Zoo has a number of special exhibits. One of these exhibits is the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit, which focuses on the plants and animals of the swamp along with the heritage of the Cajun people. Alligator feedings and activities allow an up-close experience of the exhibit. Two other exhibits, Discovery Walk and Embraceable Zoo, offer guests the opportunity to touch and have close encounters with the animals of these exhibits. On weekends, guests can be involved in feeding the birds during the Bug Toss held in the afternoon at the Audubon Aviary. Don't forget to see the white tigers!

Audubon Zoo opens at 10 am and closes at 4 pm during the week and 5 pm on the weekend.
Audubon Zoo General Admission prices for the Audubon Zoo are $22.95 for Adults, $17.95 for Children (2-12), $19.95 for Seniors (65 and up) and Children under 2 are FREE.
The Audubon Zoo also has a splash park called Cool Zoo. This area includes jumping waterspouts, a water slide, water-spitting snakes and soakers. It has three different splash zones with one reserved for toddlers and younger children. The cost for Cool Zoo is $5 for non-members and $4 for Audubon members. Wristbands are purchased at the front gate or at the Carousel ticket booth.
Cool Zoo, Gottesman Family Endangered Species Carousel, Audubon’s Dinosaur Adventure and Swamp Train are offered at an extra cost. Members get a discount.
The zoo has its own parking lot and parking is FREE.
Ice chests are allowed into the zoo on any day except a day when the zoo is hosting a festival such as Swamp Fest.
