About Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center sits among mountains and glaciers. Here you can have an up close view of the many Alaskan animals. The Center takes in injured and orphaned animals.  It returns as many as possible to the wild. However, those that are unable to be returned to the wild remain at the center.
The Alaska attraction has large enclosures and encourages the natural and wild behavior of the animals which offers great opportunities for photos.  Some of the animals you will see are bears, moose, eagles, musk ox, elk, musk oxen, wood bison, caribou, deer and lynx.
